What's the problem?
All types of organizations are using SocialBios to upgrade their existing websites into powerful, referral generating social hubs. Without sacrificing the privacy of the individual user, the SocialBios system enables the aggregation of multiple social profiles for easy visitor discovery of common friends and interests with people at a company. The SocialBios search engine finds this commonality even if two people use different social networks. Currently supported networks include Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Foursquare, and Google.
What can SocialBios do for you?
- Convert your website's stale "about us" into a socially connected SocialBio page that displays all of your user's dynamic profiles.
- Integrated social search engine for new business referrals.
- iFrame support for easy integration of all or select elements of SocialBios pages into existing websites and Facebook fan pages.

SocialBios for Facebook Fan pages
What is it?
SocialBios has created a Facebook App that enables a SocialBios Individual or Group page to be displayed on you Facebook Fan page.
Why?
-Businesses are building FB fan pages in droves. These fan pages enable social ad targeting, social stat capture on visitors, an viral social marketing.
-Presenting a basic about us/meet the team tab on a FB fan page is not easy. The FB "info" tab is a basic form. FB users do not want to "link out" of the Facebook environment for more information.
-The SocialBios App for FB provides a simple solution for powering an About Us tab on a fan page.
Facebook Integration:
-Individual SocialBios pages present with the profile and matching (left 2 panes)-Group SocialBios pages present only with the group matching panel (bottom pane)
-Facebook matching will happen automatically if visitor has used SocialBios on Facebook previously. (this is very cool)
Installation:
-SocialBios user must have Facebook installed as a "network" in their SocialBios account management section to add a SocialBios page to their fan page. The Facebook account they add must be the one that has admin privileges to the Fan page that they want to add SocialBios too.
-SocialBios user must be an "Administrator" of the FB fan page they want to add SocialBios to.
-In the SocialBios account management, the user may select the FB fan page they want SocialBios to integrate with. This is the "For Facebook" option in both the individual and group management console.
-After selecting the Fan page from the SocialBios account section, the user must goto the SocialBios profile on Facebook and add SocialBios to this same Fan page.
-The default tab name for SocialBios will be called "About Us" on the FB navigation. This may be changed by the admin of the FB fan page going to the FB page they want to modify, clicking on "edit page", then clicking on "apps", then clicking "edit settings" for the SocialBios app. The admin will now be able to change the name of the tab to anything they choose.
-Tab placement on the FB fan page is tricky. "Wall" and "Info" are locked into the top to spots of the navigation. In order to move the other tabs around, you must click the "more" button at the bottom of the navigation to get the "edit" option. The edit option allows you to re-order tabs. ***Trick: If you don't have a "more" option, it's because you don't have more tabs than the nav can display at once. This means you'll have to add a bunch of bogus apps/tabs, then arrange the tabs how you want, then delete the bogus tabs. Crazy huh?
